CSFB was recently granted over $50,000 as one of three organizations supported by the annual Baltimore Next Generation Investing Event – ‘Next Gen’. The event, in its 5th year, showcases premier equity investors who present their top investment ideas of the moment. This unique event features speakers who rarely share their specific stock ideas in a public forum. These successful world-class investors agree to speak because the proceeds from the event support three Baltimore non-profit organizations that help improve educational choices for local children: Children’s Scholarship Fund Baltimore, Southwest Baltimore Charter School and KIPP: Baltimore.
This year’s event held on November 12th featured William V. Heapy (Investment Counselors of Maryland), William H. Miller, III (LMM, LLC), Robert W. Sharps (T. Rowe Price Group), and R. Hutchings Vernon (Brown Advisory).
