Last year, the Children’s Scholarship Fund Baltimore participated in #GivingTuesday and reached our goal of $2,000—enough to give a scholarship to one low-income student!
Although #GivingTuesday was a national effort, Baltimore was deemed the most generous city in America. Collectively, Baltimore set an amazing goal of $5 million which we promptly exceeded, raising a total of $5.5 million!
This year, the Children’s Scholarship Fund has a goal of $4,000, enough to give scholarships to two low-income students.
With a 97% high school graduation rate and 84% of our students going on to college, donating to CSFB is a fantastic return on a relatively modest investment. There are currently over 400 families are on our waiting list to receive support. We need YOUR help to meet this demand.
