Dear Friends of CSFB:

We trust that you are all staying healthy during the COVID-19 outbreak. These are certainly trying times, but our small staff is working remotely, and with the help of our Board of Trustees, remains committed to our CSFB families and our partner schools. Here are some updates on how we are supporting our students during the coronavirus crisis.

Most importantly, we are happy to report that our CSFB partner schools are fully “in session” and our students are continuing to learn through virtual means. We are in contact with our schools and will share stories with you on social media and via email of some of the creative ways teachers and administrators are engaging with their students. It is inspiring!

Our staff has been in regular communication with parents as they complete the scholarship renewal and enrollment process for the 2020-2021 school year. We have implemented a “no touch” system for our families to drop off their paperwork, and we are sharing information about health care access, food pick up locations and other resources as they become available.

We are moving ahead with our spring fundraising efforts. The final quarter of our fiscal year (ending June 30) is always an important time for annual giving, and this year will be no different! We are in contact with our foundation, corporate and individual donors, and will be commencing with a full-scale effort to reach our fundraising goal.

Finally, we want to thank everyone that has reached out to ask how they can help. Our families faced a high degree of instability even before the COVID-19 crisis, and they will take comfort in the knowledge that their tuition assistance remains secure. We need your continued support to ensure that we can meet the commitment we have made to our students.
